Wow...it's really peaceful as 6 am on a Sunday...

Just checked Weather Underground: high of 99 and a chance of showers, so...hot and humid - 100% chance of swamp-ass. Definitely staying inside today.

I didn't end up going sailing yesterday. Of course JT & Matt didn't either, they were hoisting the mast and one of the rivets on the base sheared off...it sucks, but oh well... what are you going to do? I think that cheap rivets were put on the base...I mean, if I had 27 ft. worth of mast, I'd make sure the base & rivets were solid...even if it is a few extra bucks.

I kind of like staying up all night and sleeping during the day, I avoid a good deal of the drama that occurs in this house. I'm tired of living with roommates; don't get me wrong, I love JT and Ray, but good God...there's always drama, someone is always angry with someone else, everyday at least one out of the four people here is having a bad day, and JT pushes my limits constantly...just to see how much it would take to piss me off...living with JT is either going to push me into overcoming a lot of my issues or is going to send me into a nervous breakdown.

I'm excited about my birthday, I know it's still a month and a half away...but I'm excited...I just want to get all my friends together and hang out (parties are the only way I get to see some of them anymore, everybody's so damn busy all the time), besides it's the only time I'm ever in charge of what is purchased at the liquor store (I'm so tired of rum).

Hopefully within the next week I can start my whole mentor-apprentice relationship with Marie and Pete and get the ball rolling on this indexing stuff. I have to finish reading and taking notes out of this book though...it's taking forever.

We watched Constantine last night...I enjoyed it...well what I could hear of it. Why do people feel the need to talk during a movie? AAAGH!! I know everyone likes to take pot-shots at Keanu Reeves, but can't it wait until AFTER the movie? I don't think that is too much to ask. I don't know what's worse: people who talk during movies, or people who when you tell them that that is really irritating to you say, "Oh, me too...I can't stand it" and then CONTINUE to talk during the movie anyway. I'll leave it alone now, sorry.

I guess it's back to the salt mines...I really need to get this book done.
